Hello, My Name Is Opportunity

Hello, my name is Opportunity.  As I reflect back on my life  I wonder how many opportunities for prosperity I have allowed to slip away. I shudder to think where I would be today if I had only followed my gut years ago; however, no need to cry over that now. I am alive and well and doing just fine today. I made a decision to get out of my own way and do something that would really challenge me. I became an Internet Marketer. I knew owning as online business is the future...thousands upon thousands are searching online opportunities and fortunately there is no shortage of work-from-home opportunities; although one must be careful in choosing, not all are legitimate. So do your homework before making a decision that could prove very costly and worthless.

Opportunity is all around us whether we are aware of it or not. The thing is the majority of us are not in tune or aware of all the many opportunities that cross our path simply because we are not looking for it. Have you ever desired to have a particular car, house, piece of clothing, etc. Have you ever noticed what happened? You started seeing the object of your desire everywhere.  Why is that? Well one thing is certain those objects did not appear because you were in the right place at the right time...they were always there, your heighten awareness of the object you desired made it visible to you, you noticed. You have heard the biblical words: "Seek And You Shall Find" that is a true statement. Therefore, a number of years ago I started seeking ways to make money online. I knew nothing about the subject of earning money from the internet but I figured I knew how to turn on the computer and I had internet service so why not go for it.

I found out something I didn't know about myself. I learned that I am a determined individual because I failed and failed and failed before I finally made one red cent. I became discouraged many times but quitting was NEVER something I would have been ok with. There is no glory in quitting not to mention no money to be made. You could say I had one heck of a learning curve before I got the hang of things and I still struggle with new things but I no longer get down and out. I simply keep on keeping on until it works and trust me IF you put all your efforts and energy into a thing...it has to work...eventually; at least that has been my truth.

So the next time an opportunity feels right and you have done your due diligence jump in with everything you have and work the heck out of it. You just might surprise yourself and make your wildest dreams a reality. Life is short...so before you die...LIVE.

Business Start-Up - Dream Big And Show No Fear

If you watched Will Smith in the movie "The Pursuit of Happiness" he hit the nail right on the head by saying "If you want something...GO GET IT!  PERIOD." Do you have a tendency to put off projects? Have you ever dreamed of owning your own business? If so, what's stopping you? As you know tomorrow is not promised so do all your hands can do TODAY! I often wondered why people don't do more to make their life and the life of those they love more fulfilling, more meaningful. We are capable of so much more than we realize. The best way to get started on any project, goal, or dream is to START!  I  always wanted to start an online business but I knew nothing about building an online business; that coupled with the fact that there are hundreds of online opportunities. You're Fired! You Never Know...It Could Happen To You

"YOU FIRED!" Those words usually come with a soft explanation as to why you are being "let go". The company is "downsizing", your position has been eliminated or outsourced, or "we believe you would be happier elsewhere. Sugar-coated or not...the message is the same...you no longer have a job. If that should happen to you what should you do?

First and foremost don't fall apart; it's essential you keep matters in perspective although it's understandable to be very anxious and at a loss for words. Keep the below things in mind now while you are still employed.


1. People no longer work for the same company 20-30 years and then retire. Beware that companies fold everyday; even when outwardly things appear to be good.  Be loyal to your present employer and do the best job you can but never let your guard down in thinking the "pink slip" will always be for the other person. Look out for number one.

2. Be alert and well informed, if things start to look and feel a bit shaky, something is about to go left field.  Now is the time to immediately start searching for other opportunities but keep your search below-the-radar. If something should happen at least you have a good head start on finding employment.

3. Stash a little something away for a stormy day. It's a good idea to have at least enough money stashed away to cover three to four months living expenses. That's not a whole lot but it's better than nothing at all.

4. Polish up on your job skills and know what other companies are looking for.  Capitalize on opportunities for additional training. Read, study, go back to school and brush up on skills you lack.

5. Keep your resume up-to-date and ready so you can produce it on the spot if need be. Nothing beats being prepared.

These are some of the things you can do in preparation, but let's hope you never get the hammer dropped on you or have to hear the words; "you're fired!" in this unstable and uncertain economy one never know when things could take a drastic turn...
